SOUTHAMPTON , NY, UNITED STATES, August 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — On Saturday, August 1, over 450 guests stepped into the glamour of a 1940s Supper Club as the Southampton Hospital Foundation hosted its 68th Annual Summer Party beneath the iconic tents on Wickapogue Road in Southampton. One of the Hamptons’ most anticipated summer traditions, the evening raised more than $1.8 million in support of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and the Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department.

Guests arrived at a breathtaking setting designed by renowned event designer DeJuan Stroud, where glowing candlelight, timeless décor, and live music from Christiaan Padavan set the stage for “An Evening at the Supper Club.” Following cocktail hour, guests were seated for an exceptional dining experience by Elegant Affairs, complemented by handcrafted cocktails featuring Macklowe Whiskey and Château Sainte Marguerite rosé.

The excitement continued with a spirited live auction led by renowned auctioneer Lydia Fenet. Guests enthusiastically bid on an extraordinary collection of experiences, with a luxury safari to Ongava Game Reserve in Namibia sparking an exciting bidding war. The overwhelming demand prompted Fenet to surprise the crowd by offering a second safari package, giving another lucky bidder the opportunity to experience the once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

As dinner concluded, guests were treated to family-style desserts, followed by a special late-night offering of Dolce & Gelato and Dreesen’s Doughnuts, adding a sweet finale before The Frank Simmons Band kept the dance floor packed late into the evening.

“There is something truly special about gathering together each year to celebrate not only the season, but also the remarkable generosity and compassion that define our community,” said Lynn A. Scotti, Summer Party Chair. “The Summer Party has become a cherished tradition—one that reflects the enduring commitment of so many individuals who believe in supporting exceptional healthcare close to home.”

A distinguished group of supporters from across the East End and beyond championed the celebration, including Alina de Almeida and John Paulson, Howard and Wendy Cox, Jay Lieberman, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Jamee and Peter Gregory, Louise and Howard Phanstiel, Charlotte and Alejandro Santo Domingo, Barbara and Randall Smith, Fern Mallis, Julie and Billy Macklowe, Candace Bushnell, Peter Thomas Roth, William Wertheim, Executive Vice President of Stony Brook Medicine, Andrea Goldsmith, President of Stony Brook University, and many more.
